Pretty Daffodils

I just adore this image from Designed 2 Delight, it just so pretty and makes me want Spring today lol. I am entering my card into the following challenges:

I tried to add texture to the flower pot, hopefully you can see it, I used a paper napkin with a little blending solution.


Bird Hero

On Friday, my hubby and I took a little trip to see Marianne Walker at Jerry's Artarama and she gave me the most wonderful advice. The trick is now to apply it to paper lol. My problem was that everything looked flat, she said I need contrast and here is my first attempt at contrast, hopefully it turned out OK. This image is from Hambo Stamps and it is a progressive freebie from doing their Hambo Hoedown Challenges every week. I used the following materials:

Childhood Memories

Oh how this brings back such fond childhood memories for me. I used to take ballet and I just loved it but when we moved to the states it was something I had to give up. I will always be grateful for my parents for the opportunity to dance and also to live here. Thanks Mom and Dad. OK, enough sappy and on to the good stuff lol. Nelly and Leo's Flower

This sweet, sweet image is from Stamp Fairy (check them out, they have the cutest digi papers and at a very nice price) and they are Nelly and Leo. When I decided to do this card, I thought dark blues and then it hit me NAVY and WHITE. Here are my materials list.
